The Skullerz® 8966 Class C vented hard hat with 6-point suspension offers lightweight yet durable protection, shielding the top of the head from falling objects or collisions with stationary objects. Constructed from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic, the shell is 15% lighter than PC-ABS hard hats, ensuring comfort without compromising safety. The 6-point suspension system provides better impact force dispersion compared to 4-point systems and includes 36 adjustment points for a custom and secure fit, facilitated by the one-handed LockFit® ratchet. The hard hat's design features a cap-style brim that can be worn forwards to block sun and rain or backwards to enhance upward visibility. Its ventilated open frame and always-open venting promote air circulation, helping to reduce perspiration in hot and humid conditions, while the removable foam-backed sweatband enhances all-day comfort and is both breathable and washable. Additional features include swiveling suspension that pivots to accommodate bandanas or ponytails, and dedicated locations for hard hat accessories such as ear protection, headlamp straps, lanyards, face shields, and chin straps.
