Accucold's Pharma-Vac performance series features the ARG18PV, an 18 cu. ft. upright all-refrigerator specifically designed for pharmacy, medication, and vaccine applications, adhering to CDC/VFC guidelines. The unit includes a powder-coated silver ion handle that helps prevent germ spread and an adjustable control range from +2 to +8°C. It is equipped with an externally located microprocessor temperature controller to minimize door openings, safeguarding the stored contents from ambient temperature fluctuations. A buffered temperature probe encased in a glycol-filled bottle simulates the stored product temperature, complemented by an additional air temperature sensor for enhanced control. Current and min/max temperature displays can be viewed in Celsius or Fahrenheit, and audible and visual alarms alert users if temperatures fall outside the set range. Other alarms include power failure, door open, and sensor failure alerts, along with remote alarm contacts and a 1/2" probe port for additional monitoring devices. Safety features incorporate a hospital-grade cord with a 'green dot' plug. The ARG18PV operates with adjustable cycle defrost to prevent temperature spikes, optimized forced air cooling with a single internal fan for stability, and seven adjustable plastic-coated wire shelves positioned at 1/2" increments to maximize storage capacity.
