AccuCold® Pharma-Vac Performance Series are upright all-refrigerators designed for pharmacy, medication, and vaccine applications, supporting CDC/VFC guidelines. The ARS18PV model features an 18 cu.ft. capacity with an adjustable control range from +2 to +8°C. It is equipped with an externally located microprocessor temperature controller to minimize door openings, safeguarding stored contents from ambient temperature fluctuations. The buffered temperature probe, encased in a glycol-filled bottle, simulates the temperature of stored products, complemented by an additional air temperature sensor for superior control. The current and min/max temperature display is available in Celsius or Fahrenheit to the nearest tenth of a degree. Temperature alarms include audible/visual alerts for out-of-range conditions, power failures, door openings, and sensor failures. Remote alarm contacts are located at the rear, and a 1/2" probe port on the right side allows for additional monitoring devices. A hospital-grade cord with a 'Green Dot' plug ensures safety in high-traffic areas. The ARS18PV employs adjustable cycle defrost operation to prevent temperature spikes, and optimized forced air cooling with one internal fan promotes excellent temperature stability and uniformity with rapid recovery after door openings. Inside, the refrigerator features seven adjustable plastic-coated wire shelves positioned at 1/2" increments for flexible storage options. LED internal lighting with an on/off rocker switch enhances visibility, while the interior, constructed from white powder-coated metal, ensures durability and better temperature retention. The unit is finished in white with a blue-accented design.
