AccuCold's Pharma-Vac Performance Series features the ARG18PV, an 18 cu.ft. upright all-refrigerator specifically designed for pharmacy, medication, and vaccine applications, adhering to CDC/VFC guidelines. It has a temperature control range from +2 to +8°C, managed by a microprocessor temperature controller strategically located externally to minimize door openings. The buffered temperature probe, encased in a glycol-filled bottle, simulates stored product temperature, complemented by an additional air temperature sensor. The display shows current and min/max temperatures in Celsius or Fahrenheit to the nearest tenth of a degree. An audible and visual temperature alarm activates if the interior temperature goes out of range, with supplementary alerts for power failures, door openings, and sensor issues. The unit has remote alarm contacts and a 1/2" probe port for extra monitoring devices, along with a hospital-grade cord with a 'green dot' plug for safety in high-traffic areas. Inside, it utilizes adjustable cycle defrost to prevent temperature spikes, optimized forced air cooling with one internal fan for temperature stability, and seven adjustable plastic-coated wire shelves positioned at 1/2" increments to maximize storage. The interior features LED lighting with an on/off rocker switch and is constructed from white powder-coated metal for durability and better temperature retention, all housed in a white cabinet finish with a blue accent.
