The VT65MLBIPLUS2 is a 24" wide all-freezer designed for built-in use under counters, featuring a factory installed lock for added security. This manual defrost unit can maintain temperatures as low as -25°C, making it suitable for storing vaccines and laboratory items. The door is equipped with a thermometer that is calibrated to NIST standards in an ISO/IEC 17025:2017 laboratory, displaying the current, minimum, and maximum temperatures to the nearest tenth of a degree in either Celsius or Fahrenheit. The buffered temperature probe is housed in a glycol-filled bottle to provide readings that accurately reflect the temperatures of the stored contents. The freezer has a white finish and comes with a hospital-grade cord featuring a 'green dot' plug for enhanced safety in high traffic areas. Inside, there are three removable storage baskets with clear plastic fronts for easy visibility and access, designed to maintain cold temperatures even when the door is open. This model can be paired with the auto defrost FF6LBIPLUS2 refrigerator for a complete matching set. The AccuCold® Plus2 series freezers are intended for basic storage purposes; however, the storage of high-value vaccines, life science materials, medical, or clinical biologicals requires units with advanced design features, including tighter temperature controls, monitoring systems, and/or backup options.
