The VT65MLBIPLUS2ADA is a 24" wide all-freezer designed for built-in use under ADA compliant counters, featuring a factory installed lock for enhanced security and a digital thermostat for convenient temperature control. This manual defrost unit can maintain temperatures as low as -25°C, making it suitable for various vaccines and laboratory items. The door is equipped with a thermometer calibrated to NIST standards in an ISO/IEC 17025:2017 laboratory, displaying the current, minimum, and maximum temperatures to the nearest tenth degree in either Celsius or Fahrenheit. It includes a buffered temperature probe stored in a glycol-filled bottle to accurately reflect the temperature of the stored contents. The interior consists of three removable storage baskets with clear plastic fronts for easy access, ensuring that temperatures remain stable even when the door is opened. This freezer can be paired with the auto defrost FF6LBIPLUS2ADA all-refrigerator for a complete matching set. Accucold® Plus2 series freezers are intended for basic storage, while the storage of high-value vaccines, life science materials, medical, or clinical biologicals requires design features such as tighter temperature controls, monitoring, and/or back-up.
