Benchmark hotplates, stirrers, and hotplate-stirrers are designed with an exceptionally durable, chemical-resistant white ceramic work surface measuring 7.1 x 7.1 in. These devices have a space-efficient footprint of 8 x 9 in., making them suitable for crowded benchtops and bio-hoods. They are equipped with advanced microprocessor controls featuring convenient turn knobs for quick and precise adjustments of speed, which ranges from 60 to 1500 RPM, and temperature control up to 380°C. Safety indicator LEDs on the front panel notify users when the heating and/or stirring functions are active. The hotplate/magnetic stirrer model (H4000-HS) includes a support rod for mounting thermometers and temperature probes, and all three models offer versatility in usage as heat-stir, heat only, or stir only options.
