It features a compressed, non-woven fiber construction with uniform grain distribution, ensuring consistent professional results for tasks such as weld polishing, deburring aircraft parts, and blending and finishing on metals, plastics, and composites. The EXL material is available in higher densities for aggressive cutting power, ideal for deburring edges and corners without damaging the workpiece, while lower densities offer a soft, conformable option for finishing contoured surfaces. This disc incorporates the 3M™ Roloc™ quick release system, facilitating fast and easy disc changes, allowing users to utilize both the edge and surface without interruption. Available grades include fine, medium, and coarse. The smaller 3M™ Roloc™ quick change discs, which are sold separately, are designed for seamless attachment to a Roloc™ disc pad, enabling swift transitions between different tasks or multi-step finishing processes. The Roloc™ system ensures a secure attachment suitable for heavy-duty applications, and the variety of 3M™ Roloc™ discs allows for rapid swapping. Scotch-Brite™ surface conditioning products combine abrasives with non-woven nylon or synthetic fibers, creating a durable abrasive system that provides consistent performance throughout the product's life.
