3M™ Stikit™ paper disc roll 236U is a versatile sanding solution featuring a convenient adhesive backing for quick and easy attachment to a compatible 3M™ Stikit™ backup pad (sold separately). This roll provides quick access to discs without the need for disc liners, and the discs are constructed with a strong C-weight paper backing that resists wear during aggressive sanding tasks. The open-coat construction paired with a load-resistant coating helps prevent clogging, thereby maximizing cut efficiency and extending the useful life of the disc. Designed for sanding and finishing on various surfaces, including paint, primer, softwood, metal, plastic, hard and soft composites, and fiberglass, the 3M™ Stikit™ discs are ready to use with a pressure-sensitive adhesive coating on the backside, ensuring convenient application and clean removal. For optimal performance, the Stikit™ disc accompanies a 3M™ Stikit™ backup pad, typically used with a disc sander, random orbital sander, or stationary disc sander. Featuring aluminum oxide, a mineral renowned for its fast cut-rate and durability, these discs offer self-fracturing capabilities that expose fresh cutting edges, making them suitable for a wide range of sanding and grinding applications in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys.
