The Skullerz® 8977 Type 2 safety helmet is a Class C safety helmet featuring a 6-point suspension system and an EPS foam interior halo, providing comprehensive impact protection for the front, back, top, and sides of the head against falls, dropped objects, or collisions with stationary objects. This helmet's lightweight and comfortable design ensures it remains securely in place with a chin strap during sudden movements such as slips or falls. It meets ANSI Z89.1-2014, Type 2, Class C requirements, offering enhanced side, front, and back coverage compared to Type 1 helmets, while also complying with the impact and penetration resistance requirements outlined in EN12492:2012, including specific clauses for retention system design and effectiveness.
