Detecto® 6550 portable wheelchair scales offer a capacity of 1,000 lb. / 450 kg and include optional Wi-Fi for EMR/EHR integration. The scale features a large platform measuring 32 in x 36 in / 81 cm x 91 cm, constructed for easy patient access with two-way built-in ramps that rest on the floor. Clinical-grade accuracy is ensured with a precision of 0.2 lb. / 0.1 kg, and the scales can operate on battery or AC power. The low-profile design features a height of only 2.2 inches / 56 mm for improved patient comfort while weighing in a standing position or in a wheelchair. The 6550 allows for efficient patient weighing with up to 99 tares to store wheelchair weights, and the easily-collapsible column includes a quick release lever for simple transport and vertical storage. Additional features include BMI calculation, integral wheels for transport ease, and optional Ethernet connectivity, with an OIML EC Class III model available.
