The Detecto® Sonaris stadiometer employs advanced sonar technology for touchless height measurement, triangulating the top of a patient's head with precision. This device can function as a stand-alone unit on a desktop or be wall-mounted for fixed installation. The Sonaris offers an impressive measurement range from 0 to 9 ft, accommodating individuals from small children to tall adults, surpassing the capabilities of traditional height measuring instruments. It features accuracy to 0.2 in and 5 mm graduations, auto-calibrates to its current position, and includes an easily-visible LCD display with a blue backlight. Users can select from four measurement units: ft/in, in, cm, and mm, with instantaneous digital height readouts provided without the need to press any buttons, ensuring hygienic operation. The device comprises only two buttons for power and unit selection, requires no assembly, and can be powered by an AC adapter (not included) or six AA batteries (not included).
