The vaccine storage unit is certified to NSF/ANSI 456 Vaccine Storage Standard and features a purpose-built design that is ADA compliant, measuring just under 32" tall to fit under ADA-compliant counters. Its versatile design allows for recessed installation under counters or use as a freestanding unit. The unit has a temperature variation of +/-1°C based on the maximum deviation of an NTC sensor in a 1 oz. vial located nearest the chamber geometric center during a 24-hour test period. A two-year calibration certificate is included for records, along with an antimicrobial silver ion-coated handle. The adjustable temperature controls allow for interior temperature adjustments between +2 to +8°C, and it is equipped with a temperature alarm, remote alarm contacts, and automatic defrost with an adjustable cycle. An access port includes a pre-installed 1/2" probe hole in the right interior wall for easier connection to user-provided monitoring equipment. The open door alarm activates if the door is left ajar for over 4 minutes, while an audible power failure alarm sounds if the power connection is interrupted. Additionally, a sensor failure alarm provides both audible and visual warnings if the sensor is disrupted. Password protection on the control panel restricts parameter adjustments beyond the set point, and the microprocessor control panel features digital controls with a large LED readout in Celsius or Fahrenheit for intuitive temperature management. The resettable min/max display, factory-installed keyed lock for security (2 keys included), and adjustable plastic-coated wire shelves for improved circulation further enhance the unit's functionality. The unit also includes a hospital-grade cord with a 'green dot' plug for added safety and durable interior walls constructed from white powder-coated material.
