The kit includes a vaccine storage unit certified to NSF/ANSI 456 standards, featuring a purpose-built design that is ADA compliant, standing just under 32" tall to fit under ADA compliant counters. It allows for recessed installation under counters or can be used freestanding. The unit exhibits a temperature variation of +/-1°C, derived from the maximum deviation of an NTC sensor in a 1 oz. vial during a 24-hour test period. A 2-year calibration certificate is included for record-keeping. Additional features encompass an antimicrobial silver ion-coated handle, adjustable temperature controls ranging from +2 to +8°C, temperature alarm, remote alarm contacts, and automatic defrost with an adjustable cycle. An access port with a pre-installed 1/2" probe hole facilitates easier connection to user-provided monitoring equipment. Security is enhanced with an open door alarm that triggers after the door has been left ajar for over 4 minutes (adjustable from 1-99 minutes), an audible power failure alarm powered by batteries, and a sensor failure alarm that provides both audible and visual warnings. Password protection is integrated into the microprocessor control panel, which has digital controls and a large LED readout in Celsius or Fahrenheit, enabling intuitive temperature management. A resettable min/max display is included, along with a factory-installed lock located at the top of the door (2 keys provided).
