The controlled room temperature cabinet is purpose-built to meet manufacturer recommendations for the storage of pharmacy, medication, and vaccines within a range of 20° - 25°C (68° - 77°F) as defined by USP. It maintains a temperature variation of +/-1.5°C, derived from testing with an NTC sensor in a 1 oz. vial located at the chamber's geometric center over a 24-hour period. The cabinet is designed for stable operation and can maintain the set temperature even with ambient conditions ranging from 68°F to 86°F. Key features include an antimicrobial silver ion-coated handle, adjustable temperature settings between +2 to +8°C, temperature alarms, remote alarm contacts, and automatic defrost capabilities with adjustable cycle defrost. It has a pre-installed 1/2" probe hole for user-provided monitoring equipment, an open door alarm adjustable from 1 to 99 minutes, audible power failure and sensor failure alarms, and password protection for the control panel to prevent unauthorized adjustments. The microprocessor control panel features digital controls with a large LED readout in either Celsius or Fahrenheit, a resettable min/max display, and a factory-installed keyed lock for added security. The interior includes adjustable plastic-coated wire shelves with multiple positions spaced at 1/2" for improved circulation, complemented by a hospital-grade cord with a 'green dot' plug for added safety. The durable interior walls support long-term use.
