The controlled room temperature cabinet is purpose-built to support manufacturer recommendations for storing pharmacy items, medication, and vaccines within the temperature range of 20° - 25°C (68° - 77°F) as defined by USP standards. It features a maximum temperature variation of +/-1.5°C, derived from the maximum deviation of an NTC sensor in a 1 oz. vial located nearest the chamber geometric center during a 24-hour test period. The cabinet is designed to maintain a stable set temperature even with ambient room temperatures between 68°F and 86°F. Key features include an antimicrobial silver ion-coated handle, adjustable interior temperature settings ranging from +2 to +8°C, temperature alarms, remote alarm contacts, and automatic defrost with adjustable cycle settings. It comes equipped with a pre-installed 1/2" access port for connecting user-provided monitoring equipment, an open door alarm that triggers if the door is ajar for over 4 minutes, and an audible power failure alarm that activates during power interruption. Additionally, it has a sensor failure alarm, password protection for control panel access, a microprocessor control panel with digital controls and a large LED readout in Celsius or Fahrenheit, as well as a resettable min/max display. The cabinet also features a factory-installed keyed lock for added security, adjustable plastic-coated wire shelves for improved air circulation, and a hospital grade cord with a 'green dot' plug to ensure safety.
