The Controlled Room Temperature Cabinet is purpose-built to support manufacturer recommendations for the storage of pharmacy, medication, and vaccines within a temperature range of 20° - 25°C (68° - 77°F) as defined by USP, with a temperature variation of +/-1.5°C based on testing. It maintains stable operation even in ambient room temperatures ranging from 68°F to 86°F, featuring an antimicrobial silver ion-coated handle and adjustable temperature controls that allow settings between +2 to +8°C. The cabinet includes a temperature alarm, remote alarm contacts, and automatic defrost with an adjustable cycle. An access port is provided with a pre-installed 1/2" probe hole for easy connection to user-provided monitoring equipment. An open door alarm is activated if the door remains ajar for more than 4 minutes, and a battery-powered audible power failure alarm sounds in case of power interruption. Additionally, a sensor failure alarm offers audible and visual warnings, while password protection secures the control panel from unauthorized adjustments. The microprocessor control panel features digital controls with a large LED display that shows temperatures in Celsius or Fahrenheit, along with a resettable min/max display. A factory-installed keyed lock is conveniently positioned toward the top of the door for added security, and the interior includes adjustable plastic-coated wire shelves with multiple shelf positions spaced at 1/2" for improved circulation.
