The controlled room temperature cabinet is purpose-built to support manufacturer recommendations for the storage of pharmacy, medication, and vaccines within a temperature range of 20° - 25°C (68° - 77°F), in compliance with USP standards. It maintains a temperature variation of +/-1.5°C, determined from maximum deviation of an NTC sensor in a 1 oz. vial during a 24-hour test. The cabinet is designed to ensure stable operation even when ambient temperatures fluctuate between 68°F and 86°F and features an antimicrobial silver ion-coated handle for enhanced hygiene. The adjustable temperature controls allow for settings between +2 to +8°C, accompanied by a temperature alarm, remote alarm contacts, and an automatic defrost system with an adjustable cycle. A pre-installed 1/2" probe hole on the right interior wall facilitates connection to user-provided monitoring equipment. Safety features include an open door alarm that activates after four minutes, an audible power failure alarm, and a sensor failure alarm with both audible and visual alerts. The control panel is secured with password protection and is equipped with a microprocessor control panel featuring a large LED readout in Celsius or Fahrenheit for intuitive temperature management, along with a resettable min/max display.
