The Controlled Room Temperature Cabinet is specifically designed to support manufacturer recommendations for the storage of pharmacy, medication, and vaccines within a temperature range of 20° - 25°C (68° - 77°F) as defined by USP. It features a temperature variation of ±1.5°C, derived from the maximum deviation of an NTC sensor during a 24-hour test period. The cabinet ensures stable operation even when ambient room temperatures fluctuate between 68°F and 86°F. Key features include an antimicrobial silver ion-coated handle, adjustable temperature controls allowing settings between +2 to +8°C, temperature and open door alarms, remote alarm contacts, and an automatic defrost system with an adjustable cycle. The unit has a pre-installed 1/2" probe hole for easy connection to monitoring equipment, an audible power failure alarm, a sensor failure alarm, and password protection for the control panel. It is equipped with a microprocessor control panel featuring digital controls and a large LED readout in Celsius or Fahrenheit, along with a resettable min/max display. For security, it includes a factory-installed keyed lock located towards the top of the door (2 keys provided) and adjustable plastic-coated wire shelves that improve circulation, with multiple shelf positions spaced at 1/2" to accommodate various sizes.
