The EnviroAlert Professional® Wireless Temperature Sensor (EAPRO®-Wireless Temperature Sensor) is a wireless humidity sensor designed to monitor ambient room temperature, communicating with the EAPRO®-Gateway as part of the Winland® Critical-Environment Monitoring Solution. It features wireless monitoring of ambient room temperature, with an indoor transmission distance of 500' (152.4m), although results may vary. Users can set high and low temperature set points on the EAPRO®-Gateway device and update information remotely with Insight (sold separately). It is important not to place the EAPRO®-GTWY or EAPRO®-WTS devices in cooler or freezer environments; a hard-wired sensor should be used with EAPRO®-GTWY or EAPRO®-WMFT. The EAPRO®-WTS is not a standalone device. Power requirements include two AA alkaline batteries and/or a 12VDC transformer. The RF frequency operates between 2.405GHz to 2.479GHz across 7 channels, with the same 500' (152.4m) indoor transmission distance. The dimensions of the sensor are 3-7/8" x 2-7/8" x 1-11/16" (9.9cm x 7.4cm x 4.3cm), and it complies with FCC certification number V5SEAPWLSS-0822.
