The EnviroAlert EA400-24 critical-environment monitoring device provides visibility to two environmental zones: ambient temperature and an additional zone to monitor for temperature, humidity, or water presence. The kit includes the device itself, with features such as simultaneous operation of one on-board sensor and one additional external sensor (sold separately), an easy-to-read LCD display, and a tamper-proof lock setting. It offers an 8-event incident memory, including time and date, with an auxiliary output relay for local audible alarm (not included) that features an alarm silence capability with a 10-minute timer and up to 120-minute alarm time delay programmable for each zone. The device should not be placed inside a cooler or freezer; instead, a wired sensor must be connected to the EA400-24. The sensor reading can be adjusted with an offset of up to 9.0. Power requirements are 24VDC at 120mA, and the device has no on-board sensor. It also has sensor-dependent low limit and high limit adjustment ranges from -58 to +302 °F (-50 to +150 °C) and includes 4 configurable Form C (SPDT) alarm output relays (N.O./N.C.) along with 1 non-configurable Form C (SPDT) auxiliary alarm output relay (N.O./N.C.).
