The EnviroAlert Professional® Wireless Humidity Sensor (EAPRO®-Wireless Humidity Sensor) is designed to monitor ambient room humidity and communicates with the EAPRO®-Gateway as part of the Winland™ critical-environment monitoring solution. It features wireless monitoring of ambient humidity with an indoor transmission distance of up to 500' (152.4m), although results may vary. Users can set high and low humidity set points on the EAPRO®-Gateway device, and updates can be managed remotely with the Insight application (Insight sold separately). It is important to note that neither the EAPRO®-GTWY nor the EAPRO®-WHS devices should be placed in cooler or freezer environments; a hardwired sensor should be used with the EAPRO®GTWY. The EAPRO®-WHS is not a standalone device and has a sensor humidity range of 5 to 95% relative humidity with an accuracy of 5%. Power requirements consist of two AA alkaline batteries and/or a 12VDC transformer, operating on an RF frequency of 2.405GHz to 2.479GHz with 7 channels. The RF transmission distance is also 500' (152.4m) indoors (results may vary). The dimensions of the sensor are 3-7/8" x 2-7/8" x 1-11/16" (9.9cm x 7.4cm x 4.3cm), and it complies with FCC standards under the certification number V5SEAPWLSS-0822.
