The EnviroAlert Professional® Wireless Multi-Function Transmitter ("EAPRO®-Wireless Multi-Function Transmitter") is a wireless device designed for use with an accessory sensor (sold separately) to monitor and communicate with the EAPRO®-Gateway as part of the Winland™ Critical-Environment Monitoring Solution. This transmitter requires an accessory sensor for operation and is capable of monitoring temperature, water presence, and more. It features a maximum sensor cable run of 1,000' (304.8M) using 18-22 twisted pair wiring, while the indoor transmission distance can reach up to 500' (152.4M), although results may vary. Users can set humidity high/low set points directly on the EAPRO®-Gateway device and can update settings remotely using Insight (Insight sold separately). It is important not to place the EAPRO®-GTWY or EAPRO®-WMFT devices in cooler or freezer environments; a hard-wired sensor should be used instead. This transmitter is not designed as a standalone device, and the sensor temperature range is dependent on the remote sensor used. The device requires power from two AA alkaline batteries or a 12VDC transformer, operates on an RF frequency of 2.405GHz to 2.479GHz across 7 channels, and has a transmission distance of 500' (152.4M) indoors (results may vary). The dimensions of the transmitter are 3-7/8" x 2-7/8" x 1-11/16" (9.9cm x 7.4cm x 4.3cm), and it complies with FCC certification number V5SEAPWLSS-0822.
