The Axion Advantage® Lab Eye/Face Wash Upgrade Kit is designed to replace outdated or non-conforming installed emergency eyewashes with the superior Axion® MSR performance, featuring a revolutionary inverted flow design that aligns with EMT, emergency room, and doctors' office protocols, effectively sweeping contaminants away from the nasal cavity. Unlike traditional eyewashes that irrigate from the outer edges back toward the nose, this system utilizes zero vertical velocity™ stream engineering, providing even laminar flow for enhanced comfort and effectiveness. The kit includes the Axion MSR Eye/Face Wash Head, chrome-plated connecting hardware, a tape measure, an eyewash measuring gauge, and written guidelines to ensure compliance with the ANSI Z358.1 standard. It is designed to replace the eyewash heads of standard laboratory and hose-mounted eyewash stations manufactured by Acorn™, Bradley®, Encon™, Guardian™, and Speakman®. The system is ANSI compliant when installed according to manufacturer guidelines and successfully tested against the ANSI Z358.1 checklist included with the product. The Axion® Advantage System includes all necessary components and instructions to guarantee full ANSI compliance. Model AX16 shall include the Axion® MSR Eye/Face Wash Head, connecting hardware, ANSI eyewash gauge, tape measure, complete installation instructions, and ANSI compliance information.
