The Roof Hatch Railing Kit integrates with existing openings and ladderways, mounting to the hatch drip edge to minimize penetration. Model KH-O-3636 features an offset grab rail to assist climbers and is designed for hatch openings in front of hinges, covering dimensions up to 36" x 36". While the kit requires a self-closing gate for OSHA compliance, the gate is not included; compatible gate options include MFG part SGNA500GV/PC for models B2219364 and B2219363. The fully OSHA compliant Kee Hatch® Access Guardrail enhances safety for egress and ingress through roof hatches and protects the roof opening when the hatch is open. It ensures secure roof access, reducing hazards associated with open access points by surrounding them with standard railings and gates. The Kee Hatch® system mitigates fall hazards during ladder transitions, with a self-closing gate that also serves as a grab bar. Installation is straightforward, requiring no special tools or training, and includes step-by-step instructions. This modular design allows for easy adjustments on-site and integrates seamlessly with all new or existing roof access hatches.
