The Roof Hatch Railing Kit is designed to integrate with existing openings and ladder ways, mounting to the hatch drip edge to minimize penetration to the hatch. This kit accommodates hatch openings up to 66 inches by 132 inches and requires a self-closing gate to be OSHA compliant, though the gate is not included. For gate options, refer to MFG part SGNA500GV/PC. The Kee Hatch® access guardrail ensures full OSHA compliance, providing safe egress and ingress through roof hatches while protecting the roof opening when the hatch is open. The system is suitable for all roof hatches, integrating seamlessly with existing openings and ladderways to enhance secure roof access and mitigate hazards. Safe transitions from a ladder through a roof hatch are facilitated by the rail, which also functions as a grab bar for entering and exiting. The kit is easy to install without special tools or training, including step-by-step instructions, and features a modular design that allows for on-site adjustments. It meets and exceeds OSHA requirements, ensuring protection for roof access points with guardrail and a self-closing gate, fitting all new or existing roof access hatches and aiding climbers by becoming a grab rail.
