Accucold® Pharma-Vac Performance Series upright freezers are purpose-built for pharmacy, medication, and vaccine applications, adhering to CDC/VFC guidelines. The AFZ2PVBIADA model features a capacity of 2.47 cu. ft. and operates within a temperature range of -30°C to -10°C, making it suitable for a variety of vaccines and pharmaceuticals. Designed for either freestanding or recessed installation, its height is just under 32 inches, ensuring compliance with ADA guidelines for accessibility. The microprocessor temperature controller is externally mounted to minimize door openings, thereby protecting the stored contents from temperature fluctuations. It includes a buffered temperature probe encased in a glycol-filled bottle for accurate simulation of product temperature, alongside an additional air temperature sensor for superior control. The temperature display shows current and min/max readings in Celsius or Fahrenheit to the nearest tenth of a degree. The unit features audible and visual alarms for temperature deviations, power failures, door openings, and sensor failures. Additional functionalities include remote alarm contacts in the rear and a 1/2" probe port on the right side for auxiliary monitoring devices. It comes with a hospital-grade cord featuring a 'Green Dot' plug, enhancing safety in high-traffic environments. This freezer offers a temperature variation of +/-1°C, ensuring reliable performance for sensitive storage needs.
