Accucold® Pharma-Vac Performance Series upright freezers are specifically designed for pharmacy, medication, and vaccine applications, aligning with CDC/VFC guidelines. The AFZ2PVBIADA model offers a capacity of 2.47 cu. ft. and a temperature range of -30°C to -10°C, suitable for various vaccines and pharmaceuticals. It is optimized for freestanding or recessed installation, measuring just under 32" in height to comply with ADA accessibility guidelines. The microprocessor temperature controller is externally located to minimize door openings, protecting stored contents from ambient temperature fluctuations. Equipped with a buffered temperature probe encased in a glycol-filled bottle, it accurately simulates the temperature of stored products, complemented by an air temperature sensor for enhanced control. The current and min/max temperature display can be viewed in Celsius or Fahrenheit to the nearest tenth of a degree, with audible and visual alarms for temperature deviations, power failures, door openings, and sensor failures. Remote alarm contacts are available at the rear, along with a ½" probe port for additional monitoring devices. A hospital-grade cord with a 'green dot' plug ensures safety in high traffic areas. Internally, the freezer features adjustable plastic-coated wire shelves with ½" increments for versatile item accommodation, LED internal lighting with an on/off rocker switch, and a white powder-coated metal interior for durability and better temperature retention. Static manual defrost cooling is included to maintain stable temperature conditions.
