AccuCold® Pharma-Vac Performance Series upright freezers are engineered specifically for pharmacy, medication, and vaccine applications to comply with CDC/VFC guidelines. The AFZ5PVBIADA model features a 3.88 cu. ft. all-freezer with a temperature range of -30°C to -10°C, suitable for various vaccines and pharmaceuticals. It is designed for freestanding or recessed installation and has a height of just under 32 inches, making it ADA compliant for accessibility under lower counters. The microprocessor temperature controller, located externally, minimizes door openings to protect the stored contents from ambient temperature changes. It includes a buffered temperature probe encased in a glycol-filled bottle to accurately simulate the temperature of the stored product, alongside an air temperature sensor for enhanced control. The display shows current and min/max temperatures in Celsius or Fahrenheit, accurate to the nearest tenth of a degree. An audible and visual temperature alarm alerts users if the interior conditions go out of range, with additional alarms for power failures, door openings, and sensor failures. The unit is equipped with remote alarm contacts located at the rear and a ½-inch probe port on the right side for additional monitoring devices. A hospital-grade cord with a 'green dot' plug is included for safety in high-traffic areas. This model features a solid door design and comes in Arctic White, with an included digital data logger (DDL), specifically the AccuCold® DL2B data logger for comprehensive monitoring.
