AccuCold® Pharma-Vac Performance Series upright freezers are specifically engineered for pharmacy, medication, and vaccine applications to meet CDC/VFC guidelines. The AFZ5PVBIADALHD model features a 3.88 cu.ft. capacity with a temperature range of -30°C to -10°C, ideal for various vaccines and pharmaceuticals. It is designed for freestanding or recessed installation and has a height of just under 32 inches, adhering to ADA guidelines for accessibility. The externally located microprocessor temperature controller minimizes door openings to protect contents from ambient temperature changes. It includes a buffered temperature probe encased in a glycol-filled bottle for accurate temperature simulation and an additional air temperature sensor for superior control. The temperature display shows current and min/max readings in Celsius or Fahrenheit to the nearest tenth of a degree, and an audible and visual alarm alerts users if the interior temperature goes out of range. Additional alarms include power failure, door open, and sensor failure alerts. The unit features remote alarm contacts in the rear and a 1/2" probe port on the right side for extra monitoring devices. A hospital grade cord with 'green dot' plug is included for safety in high traffic areas. Inside, adjustable plastic-coated wire shelves allow positioning at 1/2" increments, with LED internal lighting controlled by an on/off rocker switch. The interior construction consists of white powder-coated metal for durability and enhanced temperature retention, while static manual defrost cooling ensures stable conditions. The AFZ5PVBIADALHD is finished in white with a blue accented control panel and includes a factory-installed antimicrobial handle that is powder-coated in natural.
