Accucold® Pharma-Vac Performance Series upright freezers are specifically designed for pharmacy, medication, and vaccine applications, ensuring compliance with CDC/VFC guidelines. The AFZ2PVBIADADL2BLHD model features a capacity of 2.47 cu.ft. and operates within a temperature range of -30°C to -10°C, suitable for various vaccines and pharmaceuticals. Its freestanding or recessed design stands just under 32" high, making it compliant with ADA guidelines for accessibility. The unit utilizes an externally located microprocessor temperature controller to minimize door openings and protect the contents from ambient temperature fluctuations. A buffered temperature probe encased in a glycol-filled bottle simulates the temperature of the stored product, complemented by an additional air temperature sensor for enhanced control. The current and min/max temperature readings are displayed in Celsius or Fahrenheit to the nearest tenth of a degree, with audible and visual alarms for temperature deviations, power failures, door openings, and sensor failures. This model also features remote alarm contacts located at the rear and a 1/2" probe port for additional monitoring devices. Additionally, it comes with a hospital-grade cord equipped with a 'green dot' plug for safety in high-traffic areas. The included digital data logger (DDL) is NIST calibrated in an ISO/IEC 17025:2017 laboratory.
