AccuCold® Pharma-Vac Performance Series upright freezers are designed and purpose-built for pharmacy, medication, and vaccine applications to support meeting CDC/VFC guidelines. The AFZ2PVBIADADL2B is a 2.47 cu.ft. all-freezer with a temperature range of -30°C to -10°C, suitable for a variety of vaccines and pharmaceuticals. It is designed for freestanding or recessed installation and stands just under 32" high to fit under lower counters, complying with ADA guidelines for accessibility. The microprocessor temperature controller is externally located to minimize door openings, protecting stored contents from ambient temperature. The buffered temperature probe is encased in a glycol-filled bottle for better simulation of the stored product's temperature, with an additional sensor reading air temperature for superior control. The current and min/max temperature display is viewable in Celsius or Fahrenheit to the nearest tenth of a degree. An audible and visual temperature alarm activates if the unit's interior temperature goes out of range. Additional alarms include a power failure alert, door open alarm, and sensor failure alarm. This model features remote alarm contacts in the rear and a 1/2" probe port on the right side for additional monitoring devices. A hospital grade cord with 'green dot' plug is included for safety in high traffic areas. The unit comes with the DL2B digital data logger, recommended by the CDC and VFC for vaccine storage, which is password-protected and NIST calibrated in an ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited laboratory. The data logger offers a large LCD display of current and high/low temperatures, recording up to 32,000 data groups to its internal memory or more on the included 4GB USB flash drive. Data can be viewed through a PC or Mac in Microsoft Excel or any .csv compatible program, with users able to set their own recording intervals starting at increments of 10 seconds.
