AccuCold® Pharma-Vac Performance Series upright freezers are specifically engineered for pharmacy, medication, and vaccine applications, ensuring compliance with CDC/VFC guidelines. The AFZ5PVBIADADL2B model provides a capacity of 3.88 cu. ft. and operates within a temperature range of -30°C to -10°C, making it suitable for a wide array of vaccines and pharmaceuticals. It is designed for either freestanding or recessed installation and measures just under 32" in height, adhering to ADA accessibility standards. The unit features an externally located microprocessor temperature controller that minimizes door openings to maintain ambient conditions, while a buffered temperature probe housed in a glycol-filled bottle enhances temperature simulation. Alongside an air temperature sensor, the unit displays current and min/max temperatures in Celsius or Fahrenheit to one-tenth of a degree. In the event of temperature deviations, an audible and visual alarm alerts users, and additional alarms for power failure, door open, and sensor malfunction are included. The model is equipped with remote alarm contacts, a 1/2" probe port for extra monitoring devices, and includes a hospital-grade cord with a 'green dot' plug for safety in high traffic areas. The AccuCold® DL2B digital data logger, which is NIST calibrated in conformity with ISO/IEC 17025:2017, allows for user-set logging intervals for precise temperature tracking.
