AccuCold® Pharma-Vac Performance Series upright freezers are specifically designed for pharmacy, medication, and vaccine applications to adhere to CDC/VFC guidelines. The AFZ5PVBIADADL2BLHD model features a capacity of 3.88 cu.ft. and a temperature range of -30°C to -10°C, making it suitable for various vaccines and pharmaceuticals. It accommodates freestanding or recessed installation and stands just under 32" in height to fit under ADA-compliant counters. The microprocessor temperature controller is externally located to minimize door openings, protecting stored contents from ambient temperature fluctuations. The buffered temperature probe, encased in a glycol-filled bottle, better simulates the temperature of the stored products, complemented by an additional sensor for air temperature readings, ensuring superior temperature control. The digital display shows the current and min/max temperatures in Celsius or Fahrenheit to the nearest tenth of a degree. An audible and visual temperature alarm activates if the interior temperature goes out of range, along with other alarms for power failure, door open, and sensor failure. The unit features remote alarm contacts at the rear and a ½" probe port on the right side for additional monitoring devices. It includes a hospital-grade cord with a 'green dot' plug for enhanced safety in high traffic areas. The kit comes with an AccuCold® DL2B digital data logger, which is NIST calibrated in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017, and allows for user-set logging.
