The composite safety toe boots feature a 10-inch height and a red Chevron-Plus® outsole that is slip-resistant in accordance with ASTM F3445, the standard specification as of July 2021. Constructed from AEREX 1.5.5®, a proprietary, chemical-resistant, thermally-insulative, microcellular polymer, these boots are 40% lighter for all-day comfort and include a thumb pocket at the top opening for a firm, no-slip grip for easy donning. The durable, seamless upper is 100% liquid proof, while the Chevron-Plus® nitrile rubber outsole ensures superior grip on dry, wet, and contaminated surfaces. The composite safety toe meets ASTM F2413 M/I/C EH standards and does not set off metal detectors. The innovative design incorporates tiny air bubbles in the material to help regulate temperature, keeping feet warm in cold conditions and cool in heat, and features a beveled heel for reduced back and leg strain, as well as tread wear indicators to signal when half the tread has worn away. The boots achieved a passing result for ASTM F1671 resistance to viral penetration and are labeled to indicate compliance with ASTM F2413, F3445, and California Prop 65. They are suitable for various jobs within food processing, petrochemical, farm/ag, and chemical applications. The removable contour cushion insoles absorb moisture, providing additional comfort. The color scheme includes a navy blue upper with a red outsole, and the outsoles are marked with the date code, country of origin, and size, while a printed hangtag displays the name, style, and product features and benefits.
