The composite safety toe boots feature a 10-inch height and a Red Chevron-Plus® outsole, ensuring slip resistance per ASTM F3445, the standard specification as of July 2021. Constructed with AEREX 1.5.5®, a proprietary, chemical-resistant, thermally-insulative, microcellular polymer, the boots are 40% lighter for all-day comfort while the durable, seamless upper is 100% liquid proof. The composite safety toe meets ASTM F2413 M/I/C EH standards and does not set off metal detectors. Tiny air bubbles in the material provide thermal regulation, keeping feet warm in cold and cool in heat, while the beveled heel design reduces back and leg strain. Additional key features include a thumb pocket at the top opening for a no-slip grip during donning, tread wear indicators to show when half the tread has worn away, and removable contour cushion insoles for moisture absorption. The boots are compliant with ASTM F2413, F3445, and California Prop 65, and are suited for various applications in food processing, petrochemical, farm/ag, and chemical industries. The navy blue upper with a red outsole includes labeling that features a date code, country of origin, and size marked on the outsoles, along with a printed hangtag displaying the name, style, and product features.
