Flexible, durable, and comfortable, the Pylon® metatarsal guard boots are specifically designed for tough industrial environments. These boots feature a floating metatarsal guard, steel safety toe, steel shank, and an electrical hazard (EH) rating, providing excellent slip resistance on wet-clean and wet-contaminated surfaces. Constructed using a multi-ply manufacturing method, each Pylon® boot is dipped with a neoprene sealant, ensuring the foot is enveloped in a 100% waterproof, oil, and chemical-resistant layer for optimal protection and comfort. The steel toe offers significant protection against toe impact and compression, while the floating metatarsal guard protects the top of the foot. The steel shank provides arch support, and the Snugleg design hugs the foot for all-day working comfort. A dense fabric liner facilitates easy on and off while wicking moisture and condensation. The boots are slip resistant per ASTM F3445, with a height of 16 inches, and the steel safety toe meets ASTM F2413 M/I/C standards. The floating metatarsal guard meets ASTM F2413 MT requirements, and the steel shank provides maximum arch support. The dipped sealant guarantees 100% waterproofing, oil, and chemical resistance, while the long-lasting chevron outsoles effectively expel debris and offer abrasion resistance. Additional features include a full-length, durable sock liner that enhances comfort and moisture wicking, as well as removable cushioned insoles that absorb shock. The boots outperform other rubber alternatives in solvents, caustics, hydrocarbons, oils, fats, and acids. Made with neoprene rubber, the upper offers a soft, flexible fit for optimum pliability and comfort in a brick red upper and crème outsole. The boots are labeled with the country of origin and size on the outsoles, and a date code is printed on the topline band, medial side. They comply with ASTM F2413, F3445, and California Prop 65, making them suitable for various industrial applications.
