Flexible, durable, and comfortable, Pylon® metatarsal guard boots are designed for tough industrial environments. These boots feature a floating metatarsal guard, steel safety toe, steel shank, and an electrical hazard (EH) rating, providing excellent slip resistance on wet-clean and wet-contaminated surfaces. Made using a multi-ply manufacturing method, each boot is dipped with a neoprene sealant, ensuring that the foot is surrounded by a 100% waterproof, oil, and chemical-resistant layer for optimum protection and comfort. The steel toe offers protection against toe impact and compression, while the floating metatarsal guard protects the top of the foot. The steel shank provides arch support, and the Snugleg design hugs the foot for all-day working comfort. The dense fabric liner facilitates easy on and off and wicks away moisture and condensation. The boots are 16" in height, with the steel safety toe meeting ASTM F2413 M/I/C standards and the floating metatarsal guard meeting ASTM F2413 MT requirements. They are slip resistant per ASTM F3445 requirements and EH rated. The long-lasting chevron outsoles resist abrasion and expel debris, while the full-length, durable sock liner enhances comfort and moisture-wicking capability. Removable cushioned insoles absorb shock for additional comfort. Designed to outlast other rubber boots in solvents, caustics, hydrocarbons, oils, fats, and acids, the neoprene rubber upper provides optimum pliability and comfort. The boots feature a brick red upper with a creme outsole, and labeling includes the country of origin and size marked on the outsoles, alongside a date code printed on the topline band, medial side. They are also labeled to indicate compliance with ASTM F2413, F3445, and California Prop 65, making them suitable for various industrial applications.
