Justrite's Cease-Fire® waste receptacles are designed to provide around-the-clock protection against trash fires, thanks to their specially contoured shape that directs smoke and gas from any fire back into the combustion area, effectively cutting off the air supply and extinguishing flames within seconds. These receptacles are intended for the collection of waste paper and other solvent-free combustibles, making them suitable for use in various environments such as plants, hospitals, schools, offices, and stores. The drums should not be filled beyond 3/4 full. Available options include a durable steel head with red powder-coat paint, ideal for abusive conditions, or a brushed aluminum head that offers easy cleaning and corrosion resistance. The receptacles are constructed from heavy-gauge steel with a rust preventative interior coating and comply with FM Approvals, with UL listing applicable to all models except the 55-gallon size. The opening diameter measures 7 inches.
