The 2" T-311 Cast Iron Swing Check Valve features a swing-check design, making it suitable for various commercial and industrial backflow prevention applications. Constructed from durable cast iron, this valve resists pipeline stresses and distortion. It includes an IBBM design—iron-body-bronze-mount—featuring a bronze body seat and flapper-disc sealing rings, which provide a superior seal compared to traditional iron-on-iron designs. The valve has Class 125/150 full-face flange-type end connections and is designed for installation in either vertical (upward flow only) or horizontal (cover upright) configurations. It complies with interchangeability requirements, with face-to-face dimensions meeting ANSI / ASME B16.10 standards and flanged end connections conforming to ANSI / ASME B16.1 Class 125/150. Additionally, it adheres to MSS SP-71 standards and is manufactured in an ISO accredited facility. The valve supports a working pressure of 200 PSI for cold working pressure (CWP) and 125 PSI for saturated steam (WSP), with a maximum service temperature of 450°F.
