The 8" T-312 ductile iron wafer check valve features an aluminum bronze disc and includes dual spring-loaded discs that ensure quick and silent closure. It is designed with elastomer seats that create a positive seal against backflow and can be installed in any orientation, whether vertically or horizontally. The durable ductile iron body allows for easy installation between Class 125/150 companion flanges, while the compact body design is lighter and requires less installation space compared to traditional flanged swing check valves. Additionally, the split-disc, center-torsional spring design minimizes pressure drop. This valve supports a cold working pressure (CWP) of 300 PSI and is not suitable for steam service, with a maximum service temperature of 180°F.
