The 8" T-312 ductile iron wafer check valve features dual spring-loaded discs that ensure quick and silent closure, while elastomer seats provide a positive seal against backflow. This versatile valve can be installed in any orientation—vertically or horizontally—and boasts a durable ductile iron body that is designed for easy installation between class 125/150 companion flanges. Its compact body design is lighter and requires less installation space compared to traditional flanged swing check valves, and the split-disc, center-torsional spring design minimizes pressure drop. The valve has a working pressure, non-shock (PSI) with a cold working pressure (CWP) of 300 PSI, and it is not suitable for steam service (WSP), with a maximum service temperature of 180°F.
