The 2-1/2" T-311 cast iron swing check valve features a swing-check design suitable for various commercial and industrial backflow prevention applications. Constructed from durable cast iron, it effectively resists pipeline stresses and distortion. The IBBM (Iron-Body-Bronze-Mount) design includes a bronze body seat and flapper-disc sealing rings, with pliable rings that enhance sealing performance compared to plain iron-on-iron designs. It has Class 125/150 full-face flange-type end connections, and all external surfaces are primed and painted for corrosion resistance. This valve can be installed in either vertical (upward flow only) or horizontal (cover upright) applications. It meets interchangeability requirements with face-to-face dimensions conforming to ANSI / ASME B16.10 and flanged end connections conforming to ANSI / ASME B16.1 class 125/150. The valve complies with MSS SP-71 and is manufactured in an ISO accredited facility. The working pressure, non-shock (PSI), is 200 PSI for cold working pressure (CWP) and 125 PSI for saturated steam (WSP), with a maximum service temperature of 450°F.
