The 12" T-312 ductile iron wafer check valve features dual spring-loaded discs that ensure quick and silent closure, while elastomer seats provide a positive seal against backflow. This valve can be installed vertically or horizontally in any orientation. Its durable ductile iron body is designed for easy installation between Class 125/150 companion flanges. The compact body design is lighter and requires less installation space compared to traditional flanged swing check valves. Additionally, the split-disc, center-torsional spring design minimizes pressure drop. The valve has a non-shock working pressure (PSI) with a cold working pressure (CWP) of 300 PSI and is not suitable for saturated steam (WSP). The maximum service temperature is 180°F.
