The 3" T-303 OS & Y cast iron gate valve features an outside-screw-and-yoke stem design that provides a visual reference to the disc wedge position and offers durability superior to non-rising stem designs, as its stem threads remain external and are not exposed to media flow. It includes Class 125/150 flange-type end connections and employs an IBBM design, featuring an iron body, bronze mount, with bronze seat and wedge sealing rings. The solid wedge ensures a positive drip-tight closure, while the durable cast iron construction resists pipeline stresses and distortion. All external surfaces are primed and dual-coat painted for enhanced corrosion resistance, and full-flow waterways are designed to minimize pressure drop. The working pressure specifications include a cold working pressure (CWP) of 200 PSI and a saturated steam (WSP) rating of 125 PSI up to 450°F. The valve conforms to ANSI/ASME B16.10 for face-to-face dimensions, ANSI/ASME B16.1 class 125/150 for flanged end connections, and MSS SP-70 standards. Additionally, it is manufactured in an ISO-9002 accredited facility.
