The 6" T-303 OS & Y cast iron gate valve features an outside-screw-and-yoke stem design that provides a visual reference to the disc wedge position while offering enhanced durability compared to non-rising stem designs, as the external stem threads are not exposed to the media flow. It includes Class 125/150 flange-type end connections and an IBBM design, incorporating an iron body with bronze mount, bronze seat, and wedge sealing rings. A solid wedge ensures a positive drip-tight closure, while the durable cast iron construction resists pipeline stresses and distortion. All external surfaces are primed and dual-coat painted for corrosion resistance, and the valve has full-flow waterways that minimize pressure drop. The working pressure, non-shock (PSI), includes a cold working pressure (CWP) of 200 PSI and a saturated steam (WSP) rating of 125 PSI at up to 450°F. Additionally, the face-to-face dimensions comply with ANSI/ASME B16.10 interchangeability requirements, and the flanged end connections conform to ANSI/ASME B16.1 Class 125/150. The valve also meets the MSS SP-70 standard and is manufactured in a facility accredited to ISO-9002 standards.
