The 2-1/2" T-303 OS & Y cast iron gate valve features an outside-screw-and-yoke stem design that provides a visual reference to the disc wedge position and offers enhanced durability compared to non-rising stem designs, as the stem threads are external and not exposed to the media flow. It includes Class 125/150 flange-type end connections and employs an iron-body-bronze-mount (IBBM) design, complete with bronze seat and wedge sealing rings, ensuring a solid wedge for positive drip-tight closure. This valve is constructed from durable cast iron, which resists pipeline stresses and distortion, and all external surfaces are primed and dual-coat painted for corrosion resistance. The full-flow waterways minimize pressure drop, and the valve operates at a working pressure, non-shock (PSI), with a cold working pressure (CWP) of 200 PSI and a saturated steam (WSP) capacity from 125 PSI to 450°F. In accordance with interchangeability requirements, the face-to-face dimensions conform to ANSI/ASME B16.10, while the flanged end connections meet ANSI/ASME B16.1 class 125/150 standards. This product also conforms to MSS SP-70 and is manufactured in an ISO-9002 accredited facility.
