The 6" T-311 cast iron swing check valve features a swing-check design suitable for basic commercial and industrial general backflow prevention applications. Constructed from durable cast iron, it resists pipeline stresses and distortion, while its IBBM (iron-body-bronze-mount) design includes a bronze body seat and flapper-disc sealing rings that enhance sealing capabilities compared to plain iron-on-iron designs. The valve is equipped with Class 125/150 full-face flange-type end connections and has all external surfaces primed and painted for corrosion resistance. It can be installed in vertical (upward flow only) or horizontal (with cover upright) applications. The face-to-face dimensions conform to ANSI / ASME B16.10 in accordance with interchangeability requirements, and the flanged end connections meet ANSI / ASME B16.1 class 125/150 standards, conforming to MSS SP-71. This product is manufactured in an ISO accredited facility and has a working pressure of 200 PSI for cold working pressure (CWP) and 125 PSI for saturated steam (WSP), with a maximum service temperature of 450°F.
