The 8" T-303 OS & Y cast iron gate valve features an outside-screw-and-yoke stem design that provides a visual reference to the disc wedge position and offers enhanced durability over non-rising stem designs due to external stem threads that are not exposed to the media flow. The valve includes Class 125/150 flange-type end connections and an IBBM design, which consists of an iron body, bronze mount, and bronze seat and wedge sealing rings. It is equipped with a solid wedge that ensures a positive drip-tight closure, and its durable cast iron construction is designed to resist pipeline stresses and distortion. The valve's external surfaces are primed and dual-coat painted for corrosion resistance, while its full-flow waterways minimize pressure drop. The working pressure specifications include a cold working pressure (CWP) of 200 PSI and a saturated steam (WSP) rating from 125 PSI to 450°F. The valve's face-to-face dimensions conform to ANSI/ASME B16.10 to meet interchangeability requirements, and the flanged end connections comply with ANSI/ASME B16.1 class 125/150 standards. Additionally, it conforms to MSS SP-70 and is manufactured in an ISO-9002 accredited facility.
