The 4" T-312 ductile iron wafer check valve features a stainless steel disc and is designed with dual spring-loaded discs that ensure quick and silent closure, along with elastomer seats that provide a positive seal against backflow. This valve can be installed in any orientation, either vertically or horizontally, and its durable ductile iron body allows for easy installation between Class 125/150 companion flanges. The compact body design is lighter and requires less installation space compared to traditional flanged swing check valves. Additionally, the split-disc, center-torsional spring design helps to minimize pressure drop. The valve has a cold working pressure (CWP) of 300 PSI and is not suitable for saturated steam service (WSP), with a maximum service temperature of 180°F.
